Creamy, nutty, chocolatey (and totally vegan ;)) banana nice cream?!
I originally started eating banana nice cream because I could no longer sneak dairy ice cream without getting a full face of acne and awful gastrointestinal problems after consuming it *I am lactose intolerant* D:
I now eat banana nice-cream for breakfast, lunch, dinner or whenever I'm craving sweets. This nice-cream is luscious, silky, satisfying and also healthy-because the ingredients are all whole foods and easy for the body to digest and process!
Here is the recipe for my Rocky Road Banana Nicecream <3 Enjoy ;)
Set aside chopped ingredients and..
In a High Speed Blender:
3-5 frozen bananas
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Splash of Almond or Coconut Milk (just enough to get the blender moving)
...Blend ingredients until the bananas resemble an ice cream-like consistency. (You may need to stop blender several times and push down all the ingredients)
Add Chopped ingredients to blender and pulse until all of the nuts and berries are mixed evenly into the nice cream.
optional date chocolate sauce:
in a high speed blender:
3-5 pitted medjool dates
1 teaspoon cocoa powder
1 teaspoon water
Blend until ingredients are a chocolate sauce-like consistency and drizzle over rocky road nice cream!
Scoop Nice-Cream into my favorite coconut bowls and ENJOY, the ingredients of this nice cream are all healthy and nourishing!!
