don't be afraid

The other day, I walked in my back door at the end of a long day and felt the profoundest joy to be home, the place I love. All of a sudden, I realized that I have been so worried about the future that I have been completely unable to enjoy my present blessings, of which there are so many - family, home, friends, and a thousand other things.  And I vowed to stop living like that. I fear how helpless I...

a modern day walk “in” Psalms 23

By Guest Contributor Nora Neal-Daggett Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I have all that I need… - We must think of needs rather that wants. He gives us enough manna for the day. He lets me rest in the green pastures… - Reflect on the times that you were exhausted and kept on pushing… you went to bed late, set the clock to get up early. But you overslept! Felt great, didn’t it? He leads me beside the still waters; He restores my soul… - Think of the times that you have been weary, worn and beat down, yet the presence of God provided peace and you were fortified! He guides me in the path of righteousness for His...
